Team India are all set to feature in their second successive ICC World Test Championship (ICC) final. The much-awaited all-important Test match between India and Australia is scheduled to be contested at The Oval in London from June 7, Wednesday.

Former India skipper Virat Kohli is arguably one of the best Test batters India has ever produced. The 34-year-old has scored 8416 runs in 183 innings, including seven double-centuries, 28 hundreds, and 28 fifties at an average of 48.93 and a strike rate of 55.3.

With one day to go for the one-off Test, the International Cricket Council (ICC) took to their official Twitter handle and released a poster of the star India batter.

"Virat Kohli is back in roaring form just in time for the #WTC23 Final," the ICC captioned the post along with a fire emoji.

Kohli, one of the finest active players in Test cricket from India, has an exceptional track record against the Kangaroos in the longest format of the game. The New Delhi-born cricketer has amassed 1979 runs, including eight hundreds, at an average of 48.26 in 24 Test matches against the Aussies. The 34-year-old will be one of the batters to watch out for in the marquee event, who finished as India's top scorer in the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy, with 297 runs, including a century, at an average of 49.50.

Ahead of the showpiece event, Kohli stated that the conditions at The Oval will be challenging this time around. The former India skipper indicated that the batters have to be cautious as it's difficult to get a flat wicket at the venue. He reminded his teammates that whichever team adapts well at the pitch will win the match as neither of the sides have home advantage.
