Following a thumping loss to India in the Test series opener in Chattogram, Bangladesh announced their squad for the second and final Test, slated to get underway from Thursday in Dhaka. Nasum Ahmed will replace the injured Ebadot Hossain in the 15-member squad. Hossain did not bowl in the second innings owing to the injury.
Bangladesh were forced into a change after their impressive quick Nasum Ahmed picked up an injury in the series opener. 28-year-old left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed replaces the injured Ebadot Hossain for the second match at the Shere Bangla National Stadium. Nasum's inclusion was no surprise as he provides another spinning option for the hosts with skipper Shakib Al Hasan struggling with a shoulder issue and is unlikely to bowl in the second game.

Anamul Haque and Shoriful Islam have been dropped from the squad for the second game. Bangladeshi skipper Shakib Al Hasan, who played a valiant knock with the bat in the fourth innings of the series opener, was a doubt for the second game as he did not bowl during India's second innings. However, he has been named in the squad for the second game and will be leading the side against the indomitable visitors.
