'Bhai same mere pass bhi hai' - Axar Patel comes up with cheeky reply on Rishabh Pant's T20 World Cup medal post
Axar as a batter played some crucial knocks, evidently against Pakistan and South Africa in the Final.
India won the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 29 after thwarting South Africa in the Finals by seven runs at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. Every player contributed to India’s triumph in one way or the other throughout the tournament. Rishabh Pant, who returned to the national side after recuperating from a horrific car accident, was a pivotal part of the team. After the game, Pant uploaded a picture of himself wearing the coveted winner's medal on Instagram.
As Pant’s post was catching traction on social media, India all-rounder, Axar Patel was quick to jump in with a cheeky reply saying that he too possesses the same medal. Talking about Axar, he as a batter played some crucial knocks, evidently against Pakistan and South Africa in the Final. He also picked three wickets in the semifinal against England. On the other hand, Pant was in great touch during group stages but looked glim in the knockouts.

"Bhai same mere pass bhi hai. (Brother, I also have the same medal),”Axar commented on Pant's post. Mohammed Siraj too joined the bandwagon and wrote, "Bhai mere pass bhi hai same (Brother, I too have the same one)."

Indian team will take part in the victory parade in Mumbai
The Indian team arrived in Delhi on July 4 after winning the World Cup and stayed at the ITC Maurya Hotel. They met with India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at his residence before leaving for Mumbai to indulge in the victory parade. The team will be traveling in a team bus from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as fans galore around the locality.
India captain, Rohit Sharma, took to his social media handles and informed the fans about the victory parade. It is worth noting that, when the Indian team won their first-ever T20 World Cup in 2007, the same parade was organized on Mumbai’s famous Marine Drive stretch
