Champions Trophy 2025 will start from February 19 and all eight teams will vie for the coveted trophy. India are just coming off a T20 World Cup 2024 victory and it was Australia, who won the previous 50-over title in the form of World Cup 2023. But, hosts Pakistan too look firm in their approach and will have an edge as the event is being played in their own backyard.
As the heat is catching up, former Australia cricketer, Michael Clarke has predicted that Rohit Sharma will be the highest run scorer in CT 2025. Other than this, the former Australia skipper also predicted the semi-finalists, finalists and ultimately the winner of the tournament. Surprisingly, he has not backed Australia to win the upcoming 50-over tournament and predicted that India will win the trophy.

“India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand—these are the teams I've got in my top four. My fingers are crossed for Australia, so I’m going to say Australia will be one of the finalists. And I think they will face India in the final. I think India is going to beat Australia in the final. I can’t believe that just came out of my mouth,” said Clarke.
