The Blue Tigers defeated the Three Lions by eight runs on Wednesday, February 26 to keep their hopes of making it to the semi-finals. At the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Afghanistan triumphed over England thanks to standout performances from Azmatullah Omarzai and Ibrahim Zadran and eliminated the Jos Buttler side from the tournament.
