India’s famed spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal could be seen together on the upcoming West Indies tour as both the players have been picked in the ODI squad for the three-match series. Kuldeep and Chahal, famously known as ‘Kulcha’ were the most dominating spin duo from 2017 onwards as the spinners picked wickets all around the world leading into the ODI World Cup 2019.

With the 2023 ODI World Cup approaching in a few months, the spin duo will be once again expected to be at their best to help their team to win their third World Cup title. The preparations for the mega event have already begun as the 'Kul-Cha' duo was recently spotted sweating it out in the nets at the NCA in Bengaluru.

Chahal took to Twitter to share a post-practice photograph with Kuldeep and wrote, “Post training chill scenes with my bro @imkuldeep18😌.” In one of the images, Chahal could be seen playing with Kuldeep’s hair.

Notably, Chahal was seen in sensational form in the IPL 2023 where he finished as the fifth-highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 21 scalps to his name. The wrist-spinner also etched his name in the history books as he became the leading wicket-taker in IPL history with 187 wickets to his name surpassing Dwayne Bravo’s tally of 183.

On the other hand, Kuldeep didn’t have a memorable season as he picked up just ten wickets in 14 matches at an average of 36.10 and an economy of 7.36. However, the left-arm wrist spinner had a good year in 2022 in ODIs where he picked 12 wickets in eight matches.

He further has 15 wickets to his name from eight matches in 2023 and will be eager to carry his form in West Indies and make a strong case for his selection in the World Cup squad. The duo will have a lot riding on their shoulders during the marquee tournament as India would heavily depend on their spinners to dominate in the home conditions.
