The celebration was shared on social media through photos posted by Shoaib Malik. The marriage comes amid ongoing rumours of Shoaib's separation from his previous marriage with former Indian tennis player Sania Mirza. The couple, who share a child together, had been surrounded by separation speculations for several months.

For almost a year, the grapevine was abuzz with speculation surrounding the personal life of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. Rumours of his relationship with Pakistani actor Sana Javed gained momentum when Malik extended birthday wishes to her last year, accompanied by a photo on his Instagram page, intensifying the gossip mill.

Adding to the intrigue, Sana Javed also shared photos from her wedding ceremony with Shoaib Malik on social media. This unexpected development has left fans bewildered, especially considering the earlier conjecture about Malik's relationship with tennis star Sania Mirza. Shoaib Malik had previously been married to Ayesha Siddiqui in 2010 before tying the knot with Sania Mirza later that same year.

Despite previous rumours,  Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza seemed to dispel speculation during their son's birthday celebration in Dubai last year, where they appeared publicly united.

However, the grapevine stirred once again when both Malik and Mirza made alterations to their social media bios. In August 2023, Malik's Instagram bio underwent a significant change from "Husband to a superwoman Sania Mirza" to a more cryptic "Father to One True Blessing." Notably, both Malik and Mirza have seemingly removed photos of them together from their respective social media profiles, fuelling further speculation about the state of their relationship.
