India's World Cup preparations began on a winning note after the Men in Blue defeated Western Australia in their first warm-up match. While the cricketers are sweating it out on the pitch, they are not missing out on sightseeing opportunities either as former Indian skipper Virat Kohli was seen hanging out with his teammates ahead of the second warm-up match in Perth.

Virat Kohli, who roared back into form after registering a glittering century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup, registered a half-century and 49* in his last three outings to stamp his authority in the side. The batting ace was rested for India's first warm-up fixture in Australia but is likely to feature in the game on Thursday against the same opposition.

The former Indian skipper, who is the only cricketer to have two Player of the Tournament awards in T20 World Cups, was seen enjoying his time with his compatriots in Perth ahead of their next game. Apart from Kohli, Axar Patel, Deepak Hooda, and Harshal Patel were also seen enjoying their time in Australia.

“Day off with the boys Harshal Patel, Deepak Hooda, Akshar Patel,” read Kohli's Instagram post.

The 33-year-old boasts of an unmatchable fan following around the globe and was seen interacting with his loyal supporters before the warm-up match. He was seen signing autographs for the handful of Indian fans present to witness India's practice sessions. Speaking of fan following, former West Indian cricketer and batting great Viv Richards is also a huge admirer of the Indian ace.

"To be fair, I know these are two individuals who have served the cricketing world well they are magnificent players. I do not want to get into how they are playing. I admire them like I admire Sunil Gavaskar, whom I have played against. I am a fan of great batsmanship, and India has produced some great batsmen over the years," Richards had said while speaking to journalist Vimal Kumar.
