The 50th game of the IPL 2023 witnessed Mohammed Siraj and Philip Salt getting into an argument during the second innings, when Delhi had been chasing the 182-run target set by RCB. After being hit for two sixes and a four in the fifth over, Siraj bowled a wide delivery to David Warner, which led to a verbal spat between the onfield batters and the pacer.

As serious as it looked in the moment, Siraj and Salt settled things after the game concluded. After Delhi defeated RCB to clinch a victory, all the players and members of the staff shook hands as the custom goes. That is when Siraj and Phil Salt were seen hugging as the pacer congratulated the DC batter for his monstrous knock of 87 runs.

The game finished on a sweet note for the Delhi Capitals as they defeated the Faf du Plessis-led Bangalore by seven wickets. The David Warner-led side seemed unworried while chasing the total, thanks to Phil Salt's powerful knock of a 45-ball 87. Brilliant batting by the hosts led to RCB facing another defeat in the tournament.
