The Hyderabad pacer's sensational effort saw Sri Lanka, the defending champions, bundled out for a paltry 50 runs. The maestro of swing and seam, Siraj surpassed his own ODI best of 4/32 with ease. He swiftly dispatched Pathum Nissanka for a mere two runs and then struck on successive deliveries, accounting for Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka, narrowly missing out on a hat-trick.
