We have often heard of terms like doppelgangers or identical lookalikes in the modern world. Fascinatingly enough, with that comes the part of comedy and errors. Having said so, the same is the case with people having identical or almost the same first names and on some occasions same surnames as well. In the latest hilarious yet security-threat incident, Team India's prolific all-rounder Hardik Pandya came under the radar.
With the ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 just knocking on the door, the Indian cricket team reached Guwahati in Assam, to play the scheduled warm-up games in a bid to give their finish touch to their preparations for the marquee event. However, as part of the usual ritual, teams after landing at the airport, move swiftly to check in to their allotted accommodation arranged by the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI). Consequently, players are sent emails by top hotel chains regarding their check-in details which assist in a smooth transition to their respective rooms.
Albeit, in a hilarious incident, a man named exactly as Hardik Pandya, mistakenly received the email for check into the hotel room where Team India are staying ahead of the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. Now this can surely be deemed as a perk of having the privilege of sharing the name with the star all-rounder which led to this error from the Hotel Radisson's end. In the same vein, the user took to his 'X' account to share about the incident. Moreover, he also clarified to the hotel chain that he has no plans of flying down to Guwahati to avail of the cheeky fan moment. This triggered the Indian cricket aficionados to share their hilarious and concerning reactions in response to the user's tweet.

A fun exercise would be to make an NFT of the screenshot of the mail, and charge every news outlet that's going to splash this photo on their websites if this tweet goes viral :)

its a data privacy issue at hotel's end. Somehow, the hotel has leaked the information of Hardik's stay.
