Pakistan’s young pace sensation Naseem Shah revealed that he had no idea who Urvashi Rautela was after the Bollywood actress posted a video of her and Naseem Shah on her social media. The video was curated by a fan, where Rautela was seen smiling and celebrating from the stands in the first frame while Naseem Shah was seen smiling during the game in the other frame.

In an interview a while back, Rautela had spoken about a ‘Mr. RP’ and the cricket fans immediately guessed him to be Rishabh Pant. Urvashi Rautela has faced a lot of criticism ever since for her comments on Pant, and the young keeper-batter had also taken a dig at the actress after the video of her interview went viral.

As one controversy ended, Rautela found herself in another controversy related to cricket. She shared the video after the India-Pakistan clash on Sunday, September 4, evening. Naseem Shah, during a recent interview, was asked about the video where he went on to say that he did not know who Urvashi Rautela was.

“Smile toh aapke question pe aa rha hai (I’m smiling because of your question). I don’t know who Urvashi Rautela is. I only focus on my match. People usually send me videos but I have no idea. I have nothing special in me but I thank people who come to watch cricket and give a lot of respect," Naseem replied to the interviewer.

Naseem Shah enjoys success at Asia Cup 2022

The Pakistani bowler, who has taken six wickets in four games at an economy rate of seven, has pleased many with the new ball at the ongoing Asia Cup. The 19-year-old hit back-to-back sixes in the last over to help Pakistan defeat Afghanistan and advance to the Asia Cup final, which the Men in Green will play against Sri Lanka on Sunday, September 11.

In the absence of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah has developed himself as a key player in the game, and in order to keep him fit and ready for the summit clash, he was rested for the recently concluded dress rehearsal Super Four game against Sri Lanka. He is expected to be back with the side for the finals and work his magic with the ball, and also with the bat if required.
