'Excited to meet with one and only Thala' - Ravindra Jadeja looks forward to reunion with MS Dhoni in CSK camp ahead of IPL 2025
Meanwhile, Thala, as he is fondly called by CSK fans, is currently in Dehradun attending the wedding ceremony of Rishabh Pant's elder sister Sakshi.
India cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has had a great stint with the Men in Blue, being a part of the squad that won the iconic Champions Trophy 2025. Jadeja delivered a match-winning spell in the final against New Zealand and also hit the winning boundary that helped the Indian team lift the coveted trophy for the third time, and second time for Jadeja as an international cricketer.
The star all-rounder has now re-united with his IPL team Chennai Super Kings, and has already started net sessions at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, where the franchise is preparing in a bid to lift their record-breaking sixth title in the league's history. In a video shared by CSK on their social media handles, Jadeja is seen excited as ever to be joining the Chennai set-up once again, where he'll get to meet legendary cricketer MS Dhoni.
Jadeja said, "Feeling very good (on being) back to home and very excited to be with the team and looking forward to meeting the one and only Thala. Thala, the boss!"
Dhoni enjoying his time in Dehradun
Meanwhile, Thala, as he is fondly called by CSK fans, is currently in Dehradun attending the wedding ceremony of Rishabh Pant's elder sister Sakshi. Alongside wife Sakshi Singh, Dhoni was seen vibing to the tunes of popular Bollywood song 'Tu Jaane Naa', a chart buster melody by Atif Aslam. In viral videos from the wedding, he is also seen dancing alongside teammates Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina as well.

Chennai, led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, will be playing their tournament opener for IPL 2025 against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday, March 23. The Dhoni-Jadeja duo will once again look to bring their handsome experience to the table and help CSK win yet another trophy. The 2025 season will be a challenge for Gaikwad to redeem himself from the past year's debacle, where the team could not reach the Playoffs in his debut year as CSK captain.
