Fan captures MS Dhoni driving Rolls Royce in Ranchi

Former India captain MS Dhoni has been enjoying his time off the field after leading Chennai Super Kings to their record-levelling fifth title in IPL 2023. The ‘Captain Cool’ went through a knee surgery after the two-month-long season and has been spending some quality time with his family ever since. Recently, Dhoni was spotted driving a vintage Rolls Royce 1980 in his hometown Ranchi.
In the viral video, the 42-year-old could be seen driving a blue Rolls Royce on the road as a fan, who was on a bike, rode alongside him and recorded him. There were two more people present in the car with him. Notably, Dhoni has a special liking for bikes which he has admitted time and again. Looking at the video, it seems like the former India captain also has a soft corner in his heart for vintage cars.

The CSK captain recently celebrated his 42nd birthday earlier this month. He shared the video of his birthday celebration along with his dogs for his fans and ended his nearly five-month hiatus on social media.
The wicketkeeper batter was seen in vintage touch throughout the IPL 2023 as he scored 104 runs in 12 innings at a breathtaking strike rate of 182.45. Dhoni took on the bowlers right from the word go and mercilessly smacked them all around the park for three fours and ten gigantic sixes.
Dhoni to return in IPL 2024 for his fans
He led CSK to their record-levelling fifth IPL title as they beat defending champions Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With the rumours of the recent season being Dhoni’s last all around, fans thronged the stadiums wherever he went to play all across India and cheered for him by chanting his name at the top of their voice.
Much to the delight of Dhoni’s fans, Chennai’s beloved ‘Thala’ promised to return for the next season as a return gift to them for their unwavering support throughout the 2023 season.
