Ashwin set to revive Rajasthan Royals' fortune in IPL 2024
Furthermore, the side’s 2023 campaign was nothing to remember as well. Rajasthan Royals looked to be in good form but crashed out of the tournament after the group stages. It is worth noting that Rajasthan Royals finished in fifth place in the IPL standings and barely missed out on making it to the knockouts. With 14 points in 14 matches, Royals missed out on the knockouts on net run rate with Mumbai Indians making the playoffs.
However, as the IPL 2024 approaches, Rajasthan Royals will hope that Ravichandran Ashwin continues his good run from red-ball cricket to the T20 format and will help his side put in a good performance in the tournament and attempt to go all the way as well. The side takes on Lucknow Super Giants in their first game of the season on March 24, at the renowned Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
