Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak seen playing cricket at Parsee Gymkhana

The game of cricket has been a global sport that has been recognized by many nations all over the world. There are plenty of non-sporting individuals who have also been big fans of the game with the drama and excitement the sport has given throughout the years and has been enjoyed by generations of people.
One of the individuals who has also shown a lot of interest in the game recently is former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak who in his visit to India was seen in Mumbai where he was playing some tennis ball cricket at the Parsee Gymkhana and enjoying himself. Sunak also posted on social media talking about his experiences of playing on the ground mentioning a trip to Mumbai is incomplete without a game of tennis ball cricket.

The visit was also made during the anniversary celebrations of the Parsee Gymkhana and Sunak also told how pleased he was of being part of the celebrations and was also relieved that he did not get out too many times while playing.
“Great to be with all of you at the Parsee Gymkhana Club at its anniversary celebrations. What an extraordinary achievement. So much history and so much exciting stuff to come. I managed not to get out too many times this morning," Sunak told reporters
Speaking of the history of the Parsee Gymkhana was formed in 1885 and is one of the founding members of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). The founder and president was Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy and the first chairman was Jamsetjee Tata.
Speaking of Sunak, he will also be witnessing the fifth T20I between India and England which will be hosted by the iconic Wankhede Stadium. It is India who are leading the series 3-1 and have claimed the series after winning in Pune, The Jos Buttler-led England side will be playing for pride in the last and final encounter before the ODI series.
