'Grow up yaar'- Sohaib Maqsood gives savage reply to Pakistan journalist for belittling Virat Kohli's batting achievements
Virat Kohli was adjudged the Player of the Series during the home series against Sri Lanka for scoring 283 runs.
Over the years, Virat Kohli has succeeded in earning the love and respect of the passionate cricket fans across the globe for his outstanding performance on the cricket field. Meanwhile, the batting megastar also has a huge fan following in Pakistan as well. However, lately, one Pakistani journalist has grabbed headlines for belittling Kohli’s batting achievements.
The journalist mocked Virat by saying that the batting icon only scores centuries when there is no pressure situation and fails to make an impact in big matches. At the same time, he also mentioned that Virat Kohli only scores when the conditions are good to bat.
"Virat Kohli is at his best when there's no pressure, series not on the line and conditions great for batting. There's no harm in gaining confidence and form in such matches, India need him to perform well in Test cricket with Australia coming over too tho. #INDvSL," the journalist tweeted.
While Khan’s tweet evoked mixed reactions on social media, his remarks did not go down well with senior Pakistan all-rounder Sohaib Maqsood who gave him a befitting reply. Maqsood urged him to show some maturity before making such comments.
"Are you sure he is only best when there is no pressure grow up yar two wrongs dont make one right,” he tweeted.
