GT vs KKR: Yash Dayal's reaction after being hit for five consecutive sixes by Rinku Singh goes viral

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated the Gujarat Titans in a brilliant manner in the 13th game of the IPL 2023, clinching a victory off the final delivery of the final over. KKR needed 29 runs to win the game off the last six deliveries when Rinku Singh took charge with the bat and hammered Yash Dayal for five sixes in a row. 

Rinku's magnificent knock helped KKR clinch a win in the thrilling contest. Yash Dayal ended up conceding 31 runs int he final over which led to his side losing. After GT lost the contest, Dayal's reaction soon went viral as the bowler closed his eyes and covered them with a towel.

Rinku Singh showed why he is the best in business when he took the field against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He entered the field when KKR had been struggling to get runs as the side lost the in-form Venkatesh Iyer and the skipper Nitish Rana. Iyer and Rana put up a 100-run partnership and anchored the innings.

But Rashid Khan taking a hat-trick derailed the team's plans as the batting unit came tumbling down. Rashid, Gujarat's stand-in skipper, turned the face of the game and it looked like the hosts would clinch a victory. But Rinku Singh came all guns blazing and won the game for KKR from jaws of defeat. 

When the team needed 29 to win off the final over, Umesh Yadav faced Dayal's first delivery as Rinku took strike for the second. Thereon, he sent the ball over the fence five times on the trot and hit 30 runs off the final five deliveries, which handed the Kolkata Knight Riders a magnificent victory. Thanks to Rinku's heroics, KKR managed to put brakes on Gujarat's winning streak.
