The 35-year-old had the opportunity to win the game for South Africa in the final over but an excellent catch from Suryakumar Yadav sent him packing, resulting in their defeat. Miller added that the journey was incredible and believes that the team has resilience and would raise the bar in the future.
“I am gutted!! Really tough pill to swallow after what transpired 2 days ago. Words don't explain how I am feeling. One thing I do know is how proud I am of this unit. This journey was an incredible one, with highs and lows throughout the entire month.
