WATCH: Harbhajan Singh's awkward reunion with MS Dhoni goes viral

Former India captain MS Dhoni and legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh, recently cross paths with each other at a function. Several fans seemed surrprised about this unexpected reunion of the former teammates while some also came up with their thoughts on this unexpected meeting of the duo.

Notably, both the Indian cricket legends were quote courteous towards each other. Fascintinating enough, not long ago, the Turbanator aka Harbhajan had revealed that regarding a conflict with Dhoni during an interaction last year in December. He went on to say that he had not talked with the former world champion and talismanic leader for nearly a decade.

As a result, the said video has gone viral in the social media domain. What amazed the fans was the fact that MS Dhoni was seemingly not just friendly, but also showed a good gesture towards the legendary figure by pulling out a chair for him. The last time the spin legend spoke with the Ranchi-based cricketer was when they played together for the popular IPL (Indian Premier League) franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, after Bhajji left CSK, he claimed to not have spoken to Dhoni for 10 years or so.

"No, I don't speak to Dhoni. When I was playing at CSK, that's when we spoke, but otherwise, we haven't spoken. It's been 10 years and more. I have no reason; perhaps he does. I don't know what the reasons are. When we were playing in the IPL at CSK, that's when we used to talk, and that, too, was restricted to the ground. After that, he did not come to my room, nor did I go to his," Harbhajan said during an interview with CricketNext.

Dhoni, Harbhajan won two World Cups together for India

Speaking of MS Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh, the enigmatic duo were a vital cog of Team India. Together both the stalwarts went on to first lift the maiden T20 World Cup title in 2007, and then also became world champions once again by winning the ODI World Cup at home in 2011. While Harbhajan had a good run in both the tournaments as he picked up seven and nine wickets, respectively, for a winning cause.

While Dhoni played the role of an alchemist by being flawless with his charismatic captaincy and presence. Notably, the then-captain led a young Team India despite not having a big impact with the bat in the shortest format aka T20I world cup. However, he rose to the biggest occasion by playing a magnanimous 91-run knock off just 79 balls in the ODI World Cup 2011 final to lead India to glory.
