Hardik Pandya will be captaining Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024
Notably, Pandya will have a lot riding on his shoulders once he fully recovers as he will be taking the field as a full-time captain for Mumbai Indians in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Gujarat-born cricketer was acquired by the franchise through a player-trade as the five-time champions paid INR 15 Crore to Gujarat Titans to bring Pandya onboard along with an undisclosed transfer fee.
Following the deal, MI even appointed him as the captain for the upcoming season replacing Rohit Sharma who has led Mumbai to all of their five titles. Hence, Pandya has huge shoes to fill and will be under tremendous pressure to replicate Rohit’s success as a skipper.
