In a historic night for Indian cricket, team India bagged the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, adding yet another invaluable title to their growing cabinet. Led by an impeccable team performance, India crushed their rivals New Zealand in the final showdownn by four wickets. Nevertheless, apart from the thrilling match, a post-match moment between Hardik Pandya and host broadcaster stole the attention of the spectators.

The Indian all-rounder, who played a pivotal role in the final with both bat and ball, was in a playful mood as he recreated a viral moment from the past. Renowned presenter Jatin Sapru was progressing to ask Pandya regarding his game when the star all-rounder cheekily responded, "You perform well in final, what happening?"

The line was a fun recreation of the time when a Bangladeshi journalist had asked the same question to West Indies all -rounder Andre Russell after the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) final. The moment set the tone into laughter, while Sapru couldn't help but chuckle along with Pandya.

Hardik’s playful dig added a light-hearted touch to an already celebratory night for India. He added saying that, "Always amazing to win an ICC event. I remember 2017 very closely, couldn't finish that time. Very pleased to have done it here. KL Rahul was calm, he took his chances at the right time. He has immense talent, no one can time it as well as him."

With this victory, India continued their ICC dominance and fans on social media were quick to make the clip go viral, making it one of the most talked-about moments of the tournament.
