Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya once again grabbed eyeballs, not just with his all-round performance in India's recent ICC Champions Trophy 2025 title-winning campaign but also with his social media presence.

After Men in Blue's victory against New Zealand in the final, Pandya celebrated in his signature style, recreating an iconic ‘Khaby Lame’ pose with the trophy. This moment quickly became India’s fastest Instagram post to reach 1 million likes, achieving the milestone in just six minutes with the post accumulating over 16 million likes.

The victory in Dubai was India's first ICC 50-over title in 12 years. After securing the Champions Trophy, Pandya took the trophy to the pitch and posed in his signature style. The 31-year-old struck the same pose after India’s T20 World Cup 2024 win. Following his solo pose, his teammates soon joined him for a group picture.

Pandya, throughout the tournament with the bat, played key cameos, including a 45-run knock in the league stage, a 28-run effort in the semi-final against Australia, and an 18-run cameo in the final against New Zealand. Overall, he scored 99 runs at an average of 24.75 and a strike rate of 106.45. With the bowl, he shared the new ball with Mohammed Shami and finished the tournament with four wickets at an average of 35.75.

Meanwhile, the Men in Blue had an unbeaten run, cruising through the group stage before toppling Australia and New Zealand in the knockout rounds. This victory added another ICC title to their collection, coming just a year after their T20 World Cup triumph in 2024.

"In 2017, the work was left. I could not finish the job back then, and I am very, very glad that tonight is the night where I can say I am a champion's trophy winner. That sounds good. I think for me; this has always been about winning as many championships as I can. I did say it when we won in 2024: That is not done. I still need 5-6 more trophies. I am thrilled that one more is added." Hardik Pandya said in a video posted by BCCI.

Furthermore, the Gujarat-born already has his eyes set on India’s next major ICC event, including the T20 World Cup 2026, which will be hosted on home soil.

"Everyone came out there and you know showed their class at same point of time the believe they have and which is exceptional I love games like this where everyone comes their put their heart out and i think i was for India i was for Bharat. The champion's trophy is done. My next goal is the ICC T20 World Cup in India, lifting the cup," he said.
