During the match between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants in the ongoing Legends League Cricket (LLC), former cricketers Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth got involved in a heated spat. The umpires and his teammates separated the duo but it didn’t end there. The ace pacer took things to social media as he posted a video saying that Gambhir doesn’t respect his colleagues and even senior cricketers like Virender Sehwag.
Sreesanth also indicated that Gambhir also spoke things about his past. The 40-year-old didn’t give out details of the same and stated that they would come out later. He also took a dig at his commentary and mentioned that the opener doesn’t prefer to speak about Virat Kohli while broadcasting and added that he didn’t say anything to Gambhir in return.

“Just wanted to clear the air with what happened with Mr Fighter, who always fights with all of his colleagues for no reason whatsoever. He doesn’t respect his own senior players including Viru bhai (Virender Sehwag) and a lot of people. That’s exactly what happened today. Without any provocation or anything, he just kept on calling me something which is very rude and which something that shouldn’t have been said by Mr. Gautam Gambhir.
“I am not at all at fault. What Mr Gauti has done is.. sooner or later you all will get to know. The words which he used and the things that he said on a cricket field is not acceptable. What is the point of representing people if you don’t respect your colleague? Even in broadcasting when he is asked about Virat (Kohli), he speaks about something else. I don’t want to go further in detail, just wanted to say that I am very hurt,” Sreesanth said in a viral video.
Meanwhile, Gambhir’s India Capitals have defeated Gujarat by 12 runs and moved to Qualifier 2, where they will face Manipal Tigers.
