Pakistan's senior batter Mohammad Hafeez was bashed by the netizens for his comments on Rohit Sharma during a cricket talk show for a local Pakistani news channel. The right-handed batter opined that Sharma won't be able to lead India for too long.
Hafeez also stated that Rohit looks 'weak' and 'confused' while leading the Men in Blue in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup and said that his form has not been good as well. Hafeez also went on to say that the Indian skipper is not expressing himself on the field.
Rohit talks about playing positively but his own game does not reflect that: Mohammad Hafeez

Meanwhile, team India has already qualified for the next stage of the Asia Cup. At first, the Men in Blue had completed a hard-fought victory against Pakistan in which India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya played excellent cricket with both bat and the ball and bailed out his team from a tricky situation.
In the second game, the Indian side comfortably won against the Hong Kong side. Senior batter Virat Kohli scored a fifty in that game, but all the limelight was grabbed by batter Suryakumar Yadav who scored 68 runs off just 26 balls as India posted 192/2 in their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, the Hong Kong side could only manage to score 152/5 in their 20 overs as the Men in Blue won the match by 40 runs. Suryakumar was adjudged player of the match in that contest for his excellent batting antics.
Team India is set to play the winner of tonight's match between Pakistan and Hong Kong in their first match of the super four. The Men in Blue will want to continue their good form in the tournament and try to clinch the prized trophy under the leadership of their skipper Rohit Sharma.
However, Mohammad Hafeez pointed out Rohit's reaction after win stating that he was clearly not happy and seemed to be under pressure. His opinion certainly didn't go down well with the fans and reminded Hafeez that the same Rohit has won five IPL titles in his career so far.
Meanwhile, here are some Twitter reactions:
Extremely sorry to say to this to you @MHafeez22 bhai .. how can you describe that he has some kind of pressure!!! It’s an absolutely fake statement.. he is leading the team with π― percent leader skills .. soon you will see his batting time also .. wait bhai

His expressions should be the last thing to be bothered about. And as far as pressure is concerned, he's won world's best league IPL 5 times as captain, twice with the margin of just 1 run. So he knows how to handle the pressure - very very well.

He was unhappy the way India conceded too much boundaries in last 2/3 overs. You took it negatively while some may appreciate that even after winning he wasn’t happy from the over all performance.

Different people different opinions!
Whoever followed Rohit closely, he doesn't give much in the field as a captain, gives mostly his opinions to players after the game especially things which went wrong, Rohit was unhappy the way Ind bowled in last phases, he knows the improvement needed, not celebration. π€
