Pakistan registered an emphatic victory against England in the recently concluded three-game Test series. The side, led by Shan Masood, had been suffering from a poor run. They came into the series having lost a Test series to Bangladesh in their own backyard.

Furthermore, the first Test against England proved to be no improvement as well. England managed to put in a good performance in the first Test, winning the game by an innings and 47 runs. However, Pakistan made some shocking changes in their line-up and managed to win the next two matches, thereby clinching the series 2-1.

Under the leadership of skipper Shan Masood, Pakistan managed to win their first-ever series. However, Masood quickly went viral after the series due to a question asked of him by former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja

In the clip which has been going viral all over social media, Raja was seemingly taunting Masood over the fact that Pakistan had lost six Test matches in a row. “How did you achieve six losses in a row?” Raja asked.

“Ramiz bhai, we needed this win, the nation needed this win, and I’m really happy that Pakistan won,” Shan Masood replied.

PAK set to take on Australia in white-ball series

With the series against England concluded, Pakistan will now shift their focus onto the upcoming white-ball assignment. The Men in Green are all set to tour Australia for a white-ball series. Both sides will lock horns across three ODIs and will follow it up by facing off as many T20Is.

Both sides will lock horns in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth across three ODIs on November 03, 08, and 10. Furthermore, the T20I matches will be held at Brisbane, Sydney, and Hobart on November 14, 16, and 18. After the win against England, Pakistan will hope to carry that momentum in the white ball series as well.
