As the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are preparing to take on five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 25th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, a surprising revelation has come to light. RCB's star opener, Virat Kohli, has opened up about his biggest fear, a fact that might surprise many of his fans.
Kohli recently admitted that he is terrified of turbulence during air travel. In a video, the former RCB skipper candidly shared his unease with encountering turbulence while flying.
"I am very scared of turbulence. Oh my god, I look so stupid and like a fool. Whenever there is bad turbulence, I am the first guy to hold the sides of the seat. So I feel like, I am the gone," Kohli said in the RCB Podcast Trailer.

He also spoke about what he looks forward to the most when travelling for a game," I think one thing that I have always looked forward to is the crowd that is there just before entering the stadium gate. That is because they get to see the players for the longest periods as the bus which is turning has to stop for the longest time," he further added.
RCB to face MI next
The 35-year-old cricketer has been displaying remarkable form in the 17th edition of the tournament. The prolific right-hand batter has already notched up a century and scored 316 runs in just five matches, with an impressive average of 105.33, and has the orange cap to himself.
However, Kohli's journey in IPL 2024 hasn't been devoid of challenges. Despite his brilliance, RCB find themselves grappling with a less-than-ideal start, having secured victory in just one out of their five matches so far.
