‘I wish to meet your parents’ - Wasim Akram lambasts fan for making inappropriate comment on his wife

Former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram took to Instagram to share a selfie of himself with his wife Shaniera as the couple wished their fans a happy new year. However, things took the wrong turn when a fan decided to make an inappropriate comment about his wife in the comments section. 

Seeing the comment, Akram was furious and was quick to slam the fan, asking him if it was the appropriate thing to say and how he wanted to meet the fan’s parents after the comment. The former pace legend also suggested that probably they did not raised a well behaved person.

"You think that’s the appropriate thing to say? I wish to meet your parents and tell them what have they created total douche,” Akram commented. 

On New Year’s Eve, Akram posted a picture with his wife to wish all his fans along with the cricket fraternity. He eagerly welcomed the year 2024 as projected through his social media post.

"Here's hoping for a better year! Wishing you and your families all the love, safety, and prosperity for 2024, and all the best from my family to yours," captioned the post on his Instagram handle.

Usman Khawaja shares childhood picture with Wasim Akram

Meanwhile, Australia and Pakistan recently took on each other in a three-game Test series. The Aussies hosted the proceedings and dominated the Shan Masood-led side throughout the three matches and white-washed Pakistan by winning all the Test matches. After the series, veteran Australian batter Usman Khawaja took to social media to share a picture of his childhood alongside former pacer Wasim Akram. He revealed that he found the picture in his father’s collection.

"The things you find in my Dad's collection. The great man whom I loved as a kid @wasimakramliveofficial.” Khawaja captioned the post. 

Khawaja was brilliant for Australia in the three-game series and his performances were crucial for the hosts in winning the series 3-0. On the other hand, Pakistan, who came into the series under a new captaincy hoped for a better performance but the story remained the same.
