Star cricketer Virat Kohli has been the most successful batters in the Indian Premier League, playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. This magnificent achievement is in addition to the truckloads of runs he has scored for the Indian men's team in the international arena as well, which has also made him the most followed Indian on social media platform, Instagram.

Despite the huge following, Virat had stopped posting any personal or team achievements on his social media, and his feed was filled with only ad collaborations and brand endorsements for the last two-three years. However, the cricketer recently archived all such posts from his social media page, which got the netizens mulling their heads on the reason behind the activity.

Now, Virat himself has revealed why he made that move during a recent interaction with Danish Sait on the sidelines of the IPL 2025. During the chat, he revealed that he currently finds himself in a space where he does not like making a lot of engagement on social media. He also said that nothing is certain about the future, but for now, he wishes to remain away from endorsements on the internet.

"I am in a very interesting space with social media. Currently, I am not in a place where I am engaging too much. You never know about the future. But it definitely needed a reset," Virat said in a video uploaded by RCB on social media.
