Axar Patel took a stunner to dismiss Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh.
In a much-awaited game of the T20 World Cup 2024, India and Australia are clashing against each other on Monday at the Beausejour Stadium, Saint Lucia. Australia's skipper won the toss and chose to field first against the unbeaten India, where India scored 205/5 on board against Australia.
In the second innings, David Warner and Travis Head came in to bat where Arshdeep Singh dismissed David Warner in his first over.
Later, in Kuldeep Yadav's over, Axar Patel took a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh at the boundary. Marsh hit the shot for a six but Patel stopped him from getting a six and sent him back to the pavilion.

Rohit Sharma's fiery innings against Aussies
India skipper Rohit Sharma yet again proved his skills in the game against Australia on Monday. He did not spare any Australian bowler and hit them off for a boundary. He hit Mitchell Starc for 29 runs with 4 sixes and one four at a strike rate of 224.39. Sharma played like a captain and scored 92 runs off just 41 balls to become the only player to score the fasted half-century in just 19 balls in the Super 8s clash against Australia.
Other than the India skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya also helped India to reach 205 runs on board. These batters scored 31, 28 and 27 runs respectively.
