In a rather hilarious incident that happened on Day 2 of the ongoing Ahmedabad Test, a spectator sitting right next to the sight screen was seen having a gala time as he held the match ball in his hand after it was hit for a six by Shubman Gill.

The rib-tickling incident happened on the second delivery of the tenth over (of India's batting innings) when Gill launched Aussie off spinner Nathan Lyon down the ground for a six. The ball had got lost for a moment behind the sight screen and that's when a spectator jumped in and retrieved it.

He was rightfully elated and the sheer delight of grabbing the match ball was there for everyone to see on his face. He raised both his arms in joy and then tossed it on ground. The play got held up for a while because of the same.

Australia at advantage

Meanwhile, in the ongoing fourth Test between the hosts India and the Aussies, the batters finally seem to be having a reason to rejoice. Day 1 and Day 2 of the ongoing Test has been thoroughly dominated by the batters and bowlers have been seen doing the hard yards. The wicket has acted as a batting paradise and hence it has been tough work for the bowlers thus far.

Australia have posted 480 runs on the board and India have to work really hard to reduce the deficit which is 444 runs at the moment. India are 36 for the loss of no wickets with both skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill still in the middle.

The Day 2 of the ongoing Test belonged to Australia's budding all-rounder Cameron Green who scored his maiden international ton and helped Australia post a massive first innings score. For India, premier off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was the lone warrior with the ball in hand as he bagged a six-for.
