Indian cricketers Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma shared insights into their game-changing partnership against Australia in Raipur. Their explosive 56-run collaboration, packed with boundaries and towering sixes, propelled India to a formidable 174-run total in the first innings. Jitesh hammered 35 runs off 19 balls, including a four and three sixes, while Rinku contributed 46 runs off 29 balls with four boundaries and two sixes, shaping a pivotal performance.
In pursuit of a 175-run chase, the Australian team faced a staunch challenge, managing only 154 for 7 in 20 overs owing to remarkable performances by spin maestros Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi. India secured a 20-run victory, sealing the series with an insurmountable 3-1 lead in the five-match T20I series. Jitesh: It didn’t look like this was your first series. I was under a lot of pressure to perform while you were looking calm and choosing the balls to hit. How did you prepare yourself?
Rinku: I’ve been playing for a long time, been playing in the IPL for 5-6 years. So I have that confidence and I back myself to remain as calm as possible.
Jitesh: I would like to thank him for keeping me calm during our partnership. He kept telling me to play calmly.

India overtakes Pakistan for most wins in T20Is
India attained a significant milestone in international T20 cricket by dominating Australia in the 4th T20I in Raipur. The victory solidified India as the most successful T20I team globally, notching their 136th win in this format—a feat unparalleled by any other team. Clinching the series 3-1 in Raipur, India's commanding performance marked a historic moment, reaffirming their prowess in T20 cricket on the world stage.
Previously, Pakistan held the record for the most T20I victories, with 135 wins out of 226 matches. However, India surpassed them by defeating Australia in the 4th T20I, claiming the top spot. Following suit, New Zealand stands third, securing 102 wins from 200 matches. The Australian team ranks fourth with 95 wins in 181 matches. Remarkably, only three international teams have crossed the 100-win mark in T20Is, emphasizing their prowess in the shortest cricketing format.
