Bad luck continued for both India and Bangladesh as a second consecutive day was called off in the ongoing second Test match between both sides. India and Bangladesh gathered to take on each other at the Green Park in Kanpur on day 1 of the clash, and the game began with Bangladesh batting first.
However, only 35 overs of play were possible on Day 1 of the game as bad lighting resulted in early stumps for the teams. Batting first, Bangladesh posted a total of 107 runs on the loss of three wickets as day 1 ended early. The start of the second day did not bring about good news.
Furthermore, day 3 continued the bad luck for the teams. The play on day 3 was abandoned due to poor drainage. There was no rain on day 3, as it was bright and sunny. However, the poor drainage resulted in the day being called off without a ball being bowled.

Weather expected to be clear on day 4 and 5
Speaking of the weather forecast on days 4 and 5 of the Kanpur Test, the weather is expected to be clear. However, it is yet to be seen how the wet outfield and the drainage situation pan out on the remaining days, which could be crucial in determining whether play will be possible.
With just two days of play left, the game seems to be going towards a draw. It is worth noting that Team India already registered a dominant win in the first Test in Chennai, and are currently leading the series 1-0.
