On Day 4 of the second Test between India and Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma was at his usual best and dealt in boundaries along with his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal. But on the fourth delivery of the same number over, Rohit was adjudged LBW wrongly by the umpire. The India captain was furious over the decision and challenged the call only to survive.
But the subsequent delivery by Mehidy Hasan Miraz was tossed up, which nipped in into the right-handed batter sharply to dislodge the timber. Just before the dismissal, livid Rohit walked back to take the guard having a close look at the pitch. The batter wanted to capitalise on the momentum India had got before his dismissal, amassing 55 runs in 3.4 overs. Rohit trudged back scoring 23 off 11.
