India defeated Bangladesh in the final of the 2022 T20 World Cup for the Blind to clinch a historic third successive title. The home side were favorites heading into the final against their neighbors Bangladesh and completed a resounding victory to create history in Bangalore.
The Men in Blue batted first in the summit clash and posted a mammoth score of 277 runs in their 20 overs. Their opponents, Bangladesh, got nowhere close to the target and could muster only 157 runs in their 20 overs, handing India a comprehensive victory by 120 runs.

The third edition of the competition, which was hosted by India, saw the participation of Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa, and Sri Lanka in the competition. The Men in Blue, who won the previous two editions of the competition in 2012 and 2017, respectively, completed a hat-trick of wins after dispatching Bangladesh in the final.
The champions were ruthless throughout the tournament and headed into the final on the back of a thumping victory against South Africa. India defeated the Proteas by a whopping 207 runs after setting a record-breaking target of 338 runs in the first semi-final match at the Samprasiddhi Sports Ground in Bangalore.
The triumph means that India are the most successful team in Blind cricket history after winning their third T20I title to go along with two ODI World Cup titles.
