Some police forces were deployed at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack after disorder erupted amongst supporters during the sale of tickets for the second ODI of the three-match series between India and England.

A video of the same has been doing the rounds where the audience who had gathered outside the venue was seen cramped up alongside a team of police personnel who had arrived at the scene to monitor the chaotic situation. A hose was also deployed in order to ease the situation for the public in the vicinity. Notably, the match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 9.

As far as India's track record at the Barabati Stadium is concerned, they have won 13 out of the 17 games they have played there. It has been a long time since India last played an ODI there. The hosts, who were led by ace Indian batter, Virat Kohli, triumphed by a four-wicket margin against the West Indies on December 22, 2019. Their highest and lowest scores at the ground in the 50-over format are  381 and 178, respectively.
