India captain Rohit Sharma and other stars met the Pakistan team ahead of their clash in the 2023 Asia Cup.
Ahead of the much-awaited high-octane Asia Cup 2023 clash between India and Pakistan, the Indian star batter Virat Kohli, skipper Rohit Sharma and pacer Mohammed Siraj shared a nice bonhomie with the neighbours by meeting them. Notably, Team India will lock horns with the Men in Green, at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, in Sri Lanka, on Saturday, September 2.

Meanwhile, a video which is taking the internet world by storm was recently shared by the Pakistan Cricket where Virat Kohli can be seen interacting with Pakistan cricket stars. The star Indian batter was involved in a brief conversation with Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf. Skipper Rohit Sharma was spotted chatting with his counterpart in Babar Azam and opener Imam Ul Haq, post the conclusion of their net session.
In a video shared by Pakistan Cricket, Kohli can be seen interacting with several Pakistan stars ahead of their Asia Cup encounter. Kohli had a brief chat with the likes of Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan ahead of the crucial clash.
India have upper hand versus Pakistan, Men in Green started well against Nepal
Now speaking of the high voltage clash between India and Pakistan, in the history of the Asia Cup, both the teams will be playing with each other on the 14th occasion in the 50-over format. When it comes to their head-to-head tussle, Team India have an edge over the arch-rivals as they have toppled them on seven occasions while the Men in Green have come out victorious on five occasions, respectively. While one game ended in a no result.

In the last edition of the Asia Cup (ODI format) Men in Blue thrashed Pakistan twice with 8 and 9 wickets margin win, respectively. When it comes to the current Asia Cup 2023 edition, Pakistan started their campaign with a dominating victory as they crushed debutant Nepal by a mammoth 238 runs. Hence, in their final group game against India in Kandy, they will want to continue their rhythm on Saturday, September 2.
