An Indore traffic police officer named Ranjeet Singh recently put out a post on his Facebook account, expressing his love for Indian captain Rohit Sharma and thanking him for a kind gesture.
Ranjeet wrote that the last time India came to play in Indore, he met Rohit and asked for an autograph. However, his wish wasn't fulfilled as he was busy doing his duties. However, the legendary Mumbai batter remembered the incident and didn't forget to give an autograph to Ranjeet during India's visit to the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore for the second T20I against Afghanistan.
According to Ranjeet, Rohit had handed over a note to a bus driver from where he collected it. "Love your energy, wish you lot of success," Rohit had written on a piece of paper on which he also put his signature. This piece of paper will certainly be one of Ranjeet's most precious possessions of all time.

Rohit Sharma still awaiting his first run since the T20I comeback
Two of India's most experienced players in the current team, Virat Kohli and Rohit returned to the T20I side for the first time in 14 months for the ongoing three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. Virat skipped the first game in Mohali, citing 'personal reasons' but came back to play the second in Indore and scored an enterprising 29 off 16 balls.
However, Rohit has had a rough time on his T20I return. In the first game, he was run out for a duck after a miscommunication with opening partner Shubman Gill. In Indore, the Mumbai batter was out off the first ball he faced, which was bowled by Fazalhaq Farooqi. The 36-year-old has led the team to a series win and will look to finish with a big score in the third T20I, which takes place in Bengaluru on Wednesday, January 17.
