Mumbai Indians (MI) are all set to take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 46th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The match will be played at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh on Wednesday, May 3. The first meeting between the two teams in the IPL 2023 saw PBKS win by 13 runs.
MI recently punished two of their players for showing up late to a meeting in a hilarious way. Youngsters Arshad Khan and Hrithik Shokeen were the two players who faced disciplinary action for showing up late to the meeting. The team asked the players to wear an alternate shirt on their way to the venue of the upcoming match.
The franchise, on Tuesday (May 2), took to Twitter and shared the video of the players who were seen wearing a shirt and bottom, having all of the players' faces printed on it. Sharing the video, the franchise wrote, "NEVER come late to an MI meeting! Let Arshad and Hrithik show you why," with two laughing emojis.
"I came late for two meetings. I was sleeping during one, and during the second one, I was sleeping, so I got late by 10 minutes," Arshad Khan was heard saying when he was asked why he is wearing a different shirt.
Hrithik, on the other hand, said "I got late during practice time."
