WWE legend and Hollywood actor John Cena took to his social media handle to post a picture of Chennai Super Kings’ legendary skipper MS Dhoni. At present, Dhoni’s Super Kings are placed third on the IPL Points Table with five wins in 10 outings thus far in the top-tier league.
John Cena, who is known to post pictures of random celebrities out of the blue on his social media handle, shared a picture of MS Dhoni. Hilariously, Cena took a screengrab of Dhoni in what appears to be the latter doing his popular ‘You can’t see me’ move while making a DRS call during an IPL match.
CSK eyeing for play-off spot
Notably, Chennai shared a solitary point with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their previous match courtesy of showers at the venue in Lucknow. Despite this, the side remains well on course to make a place in the play-offs of the lucrative T20 competition.
Standing on third place with 11 points and a decent Net Run Rate (NRR) of 0.329, CSK will look to remain in the hunt for the playoffs. However, the yellow brigade lost the two matches prior to the one against LSG and will be gunning to get back to winning ways in their forthcoming matches.
MS Dhoni and Co. are all set to square off against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians in match 49 of the IPL 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday, May 6. Going by their head-to-head records in the last five games, CSK have a narrow edge over the rivals, with three wins to MI’s two.
In addition to this, Chennai registered a comprehensive win in their first meeting on April 8 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The two heavyweights will be gunning to obtain results in their favour and climb up the points table to solidify their place in the last four of the cash-rich event.
