IPL 2024: Gujarat Titans unveil jersey ahead of 17th season
Gujarat Titans will have Shubman Gill at the helm for the first time as they look to reclaim the title in IPL 2024.
Gujarat Titans unveiled a brand new jersey for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Sunday, March 17.
Under a new captain, Shubman Gill, the Gujarat-based franchise will look to clinch the coveted IPL title for the second time in three seasons. Hardik Pandya led the Titans in the first couple of seasons, helping them win the title in their maiden IPL appearance in 2022. Last year, they reached the finals on the back of some consistent performances. However, they lost a last-ball thriller against Chennai Super Kings on their home ground, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
On Sunday, the Titans uploaded a video on their various social media handles and gave cricket enthusiasts the first look at their new kit for IPL 2024.
"๐๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ข๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ! ๐คฉHere's unveiling our latest gear ahead of TATAIPL2024 season!" the Titans wrote in the caption of the video.

Who can fill Hardik Pandya's shoes in IPL 2024?
Gujarat Titans traded out Hardik to Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. The Baroda all-rounder is one of India's best players in the shortest format of the game. Because of his impressive all-round exploits, it is very difficult to find his replacement.
To fill the void, Gujarat roped in talented Afghanistan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai in the auction. He came of age during the ODI World Cup last year in India, impressing fans as well as experts with his flamboyant batting and clever bowling. He could be a good option for the Titans. They have also acquired the services of the big-hitting Shahrukh Khan. When on song, the Tamil Nadu batter can finish matches on his own with his ability to clear boundaries at will. However, he will not provide much with the ball and Gujarat will need to use the Impact Player rule tactically to make up for it.
The Titans will kickstart their IPL 2024 campaign on Sunday, March 24 as they take on Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
