IPL 2024: Internet sensation Orry joins commentary panel for season opener
Social media influencer 'Orry' teams up with the likes of Virendra Sehwag and Suresh Raina, sending netizens into a frenzy.
Just when the general public thought that there would not be anymore surprises in store for them, especially after the countless news of injuries coming through along with players backing at the last moment, as well as captaincy changes at the last minute like that of MS Dhoni handing over the baton to Ruturaj Gaikwad for leading CSK in IPL 2024, the entire virtual realm was struck with the out-of-the-blue turnout of internet sensation Orhan Awatramani aka 'Orry'.
For the unversed, Orry is a prominent social media influencer, who is frequently spotted mingling with celebrities from Bollywood at various social events. He has also been labelled as "Bollywood Bestfriend". As far as his educational background is concerned, he graduated from the Parsons School of Design with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Communication Design.

Apart from being seen at various social events clicking pictures with Bollywood celebrities, he has also met quite a few cricketers, with him spending time with Shreyas Iyer last year as well as meeting Yuzvendra Chahal a couple of months back.
During the pre-match show "Match Centre Live", which had the presence of some former Indian cricketers like Zaheer Khan, Virendra Sehwag, Suresh Raina, and Aakash Chopra, Orry was almost the centre of attraction, with him presenting his views on the opening fixture as well as the marquee tournament, while the others had all eyes on him, listening to him with keen attention.
Before the curtain-raiser of IPL 2024 started, Orry was captured interacting with the West Indian Chris Gayle and was sporting a jersey of Mumbai Indians. The Jamaican and Orry even took a selfie, with both of them wearing gleaming smiles. The selfie is sure to go absolutely viral on the web, drawing hilarious reactions from viewers worldwide.
