IPL 2024: Kevin Pietersen gives insights into commentator's life

Indian Premier League 2024 has kickstarted and the fans are witnessing the biggest carnival of India. While the players and the teams have always been the spotlight of the league, there is more to it. The people who make the experience even more intriguing are the ones who present it. Not many get their hands on live match tickets, yet they enjoy it via live streams from the comfort of their home.  

Their viewing experience gets catalysed by commentators adding their insights and energy during the telecast. Keeping that in mind, IPL has unveiled a "day in commentator's life" video to give a glimpse into the grind. The video features Kevin Pietersen taking the viewers to the backdrop and preparations that go into bringing the game much closer to the audience.

Pietersen could be seen prepping himself ahead of the showdown in Ahmedabad. He starts with his wardrobe and takes a sneak peek into the commentator’s schedule. While he does not miss his customary coffee in the hotel lobby, he is also seen conversing with his family over a video call. The video continues with meeting stalwarts of the game in the midst of where intense clashes take place.
