Punjab Kings' all-rounder Shashank Singh has been making the rounds after his recent aggressive batting heroics. However, this is not the first time the young all-rounder has proved his immense talent on the IPL platform as back in the 2022 edition Shashank, then representing Sunrisers Hyderabad, put on a remarkable show against Gujarat Titans' pace spearhead Lockie Ferguson.
In a match between SRH and GT at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Singh took on Ferguson, smashing him for a hat-trick of sixes in the final three deliveries of Hyderabad's innings. Shashank recorded an unbeaten 25 off six deliveries, including a boundary and three big sixes.

Shashank Singh guides PBKS to a brilliant victory
Fast forward to the present day, and Shashank has once again found himself at the center of attention, leading PBKS to a thrilling victory against the same opponents in the ongoing IPL season. The 32-year-old shoned with the bat, guiding his team to a three-wicket victory.
Chasing a daunting target of 200, the Punjab-based franchise found themselves reeling at 70/4 in the ninth over. However, Shashank, along with Impact Player Ashutosh Sharma, managed to make a remarkable comeback. The all-rounder played a blistering knock of 61 off just 29 deliveries, smashing six fours and four towering sixes to keep his team in the hunt.

With 25 runs needed off the final 12 balls, Shashank and Ashutosh both hit two crucial sixes, reducing the equation to a reachable seven runs off the final over. Despite losing Ashutosh on the first ball of the last over, Shashank calmly steered his team to their second victory, ending the two-game losing streak for Punjab Kings. He was awarded the Player of the Match award for his knock as well.
