Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid would probably be ranked as two of the best batters produced in world cricket. The "God of Cricket" is a legendary figure in the sport. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Tendulkar holds numerous records in international cricket and is revered for his impeccable technique, consistency, and unmatched dedication to the game. "The Wall" is renowned for his resilience and solid batting technique. A true gentleman of the game, Dravid epitomizes grace both on and off the field.

The same could be said for off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and pacer Zaheer Khan. The "Turbanator" was one of India's finest spin bowlers. With his cunning off-spin and fierce competitiveness, Harbhajan has been a match-winner on a multitude of occasions. Known for his ability to swing the ball both ways and deliver crucial breakthroughs, Zaheer played a pivotal role in India's triumphs in both Tests and ODIs back in the day.

In an old video going viral on social media, Rohit could be seen winding up the practice session on the eve of the match by mirthfully embodying the aforementioned greats of Indian cricket, one by one.

Starting off with Sachin, Rohit was observed facing side-on to the camera, taking Sachin's standard stance, and then playing one of his most elegant shots (the straight drive). Proceeding to Dravid, Rohit could be seen tapping the ground with his bat before imitating Dravid's classical, much like Dravid would do while occupying the crease for long durations.

Coming to Harbhajan, he jokingly played around in front of the camera, impersonating the stretches by Harbhajan, and then went forward with his characteristic bowling action and follow-through. Although the mimicry of the Player of the Tournament of the 2011 World Cup, Yivraj Singh, was a rather short one, it was based on the ever-stylish Yuvraj coming into the field wearing sunglasses, giving orders to other imaginary fielders. The series ended with Zaheer's exemplification, with Rohit running in and bowling left-handed, showcasing his trademark celebration of extending his arms wide apart on taking a wicket.

Rohit just 23 runs away from a landmark feat

With 977 runs coming in 33 innings Rohit has faced against the Delhi Capitals, the former MI skipper is just 23 runs shy of hitting the 1000-run mark in the IPL against DC.
