After the match, Kohli praised Jacks' performance, describing it as phenomenal. Kohli highlighted Mohit Sharma's over as pivotal and expressed delight in the team's swift victory, attributing it to improved pitch conditions.
"Phenomenal, initially when he [Jacks] came to bat, he was annoyed that he wasn't able to strike the ball as he wanted to. The only talk was to for him to stay calm, we know how explosive he can be when he gets going. The over from Mohit [Sharma] was the game changer, I was just happy to stay around and watch him go. I thought we would win in 19 overs, but to do it in 16 was absolutely brilliant. The wicket did start to get better as the first innings wore on, the ball was coming nicely onto the bat," Kohli said after the match as quote dby Cricbuzz.
I struggled early on, Virat kept his intensity up: Will Jacks

"Amazing feeling right now. Faf and Virat got us off to a very good start. I struggled early on, Virat kept his intensity up and I had the chance to get my rhythm. Once we had the time-out, we said let's get two really good overs and win the game. I just kept going and amazing feeling right now. I was trying to be positive (against spin early on), just struggling. I was trying to overhit the ball, probably little bit tensed. Once I got one away off Mohit, I relaxed and trusted myself. Next game, hopefully I do that earlier," Player of the Match Jacks said after the match.
