IPL 2025: Amit Trivedi to perform at Narendra Modi stadium before GT vs PBKS match

Renowned singer Amit Trivedi will deliver a musical performance at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad before the match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in IPL 2025. The IPL committee officially confirmed the event. After Eden Gardens and the ACA International Cricket Stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium will also witness special performances.
A promotional poster was shared to confirm the news and attract more fans to watch the first IPL 2025 match in Ahmedabad. Fans were excited about the announcement and eagerly anticipated hearing some of his chartbusters. The performance aims not only to enhance the matchday experience but also to attract more fans to the stadium.
"Ahmedabad, get ready for a night of unforgettable melodies! #IPL18 deserves a symphony like never before, and who better than Amit Trivedi to make it happen," IPL confirmed on its official 'X' social media handle.

All Musical Performances in IPL 2025 So Far
After the toss, Amit Trivedi’s performance is expected to last for 20 minutes before the first innings of the GT versus PBKS match. In addition to Trivedi, two other artists have reportedly been roped in to perform alongside the Gujarati musician. The event is scheduled to take place from 7:05 PM to 7:25 PM.

Ahmedabad will not be the first venue to host such a musical performance. Kolkata’s Eden Gardens and Visakhapatnam’s ACA International Cricket Stadium have also featured live performances to entertain fans. While Eden Gardens hosted the inaugural match of the season, the ACA International Cricket Stadium organised a special show for the audience.
The opening ceremony of IPL 2025 was held in Kolkata, featuring musical and dance performances by top artists such as Shreya Ghoshal, Disha Patani, and Karan Aujla. In Visakhapatnam, Neeti Mohan and Shankar Mahadevan delivered a musical performance. Further details about Amit Trivedi’s show and the additional artists expected to perform may be announced soon.
