IPL 2025: Best Catch of the Match – GT vs PBKS, Match 5
Sai Sudharsan's promising innings in the middle came to a halt through a smart catch at the fence.

Sai Sudharsan's menacing 41-ball 74-run knock came to a sudden halt after a misdirected delivery by Arshdeep Singh was hung on to safely by Shashank Singh at the deep backward square leg fence in Gujarat Titans' game against Punjab Kings on Tuesday, March 25.
It was a well-timed flick by the top-order Southpaw. However, Shashank was prompt to move to his right and take a reverse cupped catch under pressure. After the dismissal of Sudharsan, the home side could never really keep up with the required net run rate, as they fell to an 11-run loss to PBKS.

Earlier in the evening, it was mainly due to skipper Shreyas Iyer's magnificent IPL-best unbeaten 97 that PBKS registered 243 on the board. Shashank came halfway through the 16th over of the first innings, and ended up playing a blinder of a knock.
