IPL 2025: Best Catch of the Match - Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Match 33

As the SRH openers were beginning to settle, MI skipper Hardik Pandya provided a crucial breakthrough by dismissing the in-form left-handed batter Abhishek Sharma, by a brilliant catch by substitute fielder Raj Bawa in place of Karn Sharma.

In the 8th over of the match, on the third delivery, Pandya bowled a short and slower ball into the pitch. Abhishek reached out to slap it through the offside, aiming towards the sweeper cover. However, Raj Bawa charged in, bent forward, and took a sharp low catch to dismiss the batter. The wicket broke the growing partnership and came as a much-needed breakthrough for the Mumbai Indians.

In the end, MI completed the match comfortably with all the batters contributing runs for the victory and chased the target with 11 balls to spare. MI got two points in front of their home crowd and got the third victory of the 2025 IPL.

SRH scored 162 in their batting with contributions from Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klassen. For MI, Will Jacks bowled a tight spell and picked up two wickets. In the second innings, MI batters scored easily against SRH bowlers. For SRH, the skipper bowled brilliantly and picked up three wickets in his four-over spell, and no other bowlers could contribute to the scoreboard and restrict the MI batters.
