A full-stretched dive by Ramandeep Singh brought about the end of Shreyas Iyer two balls into his innings during Match 31 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday, April 15. The former KKR skipper had to return back to the pavilion for a two-ball duck on the fourth delivery of the fourth over.
A short and wide ball by Harshit Rana was slashed by Iyer. However, he hit it towards Ramandeep, who was stationed at a squarish third man position. The ball did not quite carry towards him, which prompted him to run off the boundary to execute a superb low catch.

Notably, Iyer was Harshit's second dismissal of the evening. Two balls prior to the PBKS skipper's dismissal, he had got rid of Priyansh Arya with the help of another potentially non-wicket-taking delivery. Earlier in the eveing, the Iyer-led PBKS won the toss and opted to bat first.

PBKS are coming off an eight-wicket loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the ongoing game. SRH were successful in tracking down the 246-run target with eight wickets and nine deliveries to spare at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Saturday, April 12.
